This Biggs Jasper Necklace is strung on leather cord with our signature feather clasp in golden bronze. It features a decorative knot above the stone and is strung on dark brown leather cord.
Biggs Jasper is a rare & highly prized form of picture jasper that was discover around 1960 near Biggs Junction, Oregon. It was formed as mud from volcanic ash was deposited on basalt terrain, and subsequently heated and compressed through volcanic activity which caused the great variety of marbled, rosette-like and picture designs found in Biggs jasper.
