About Parvati:
Parvati is Goddess of love, marriage, devotion, and beauty. She is the wife of Shiva and the mother of Ganesha. Parvati is also known as the daughter of the mountains and it is said she loves to live in the forest of Kadamba trees – also known as the Bur Flower. Kadamba Tree is called “Parvati’s Tree” and is why we named this mala after her.

The Kadamba Tree is a large, evergreen tree with beautiful & unique flowers. It is a fast growing tree making it a sustainable choice for wood. It is considered sacred by many and often planted near temples. It is one of the important medicinal plants belonging to the Rubiaceae family and is native to South and Southeast Asia and is widely found in different parts of India as well as other countries in the region.
