Tulsi Wrist Mala
The Ritual Tulsi Wrist Mala has 27 beads plus a guru bead. We have chosen 7mm size beads for this wrist mala, which is approximately 7 1/4 inches around (see more information on sizing below). Even if it isn’t the right size for your wrist, it’s a great way to carry a mala with you in a pocket or purse at all times! It is knotted on white cord, with a white tassel wrapped in silver thread.
Tulsi, or “Sacred Basil,” increases devotion, promotes spiritual growth and provides protection to the wearer. Often said to be the most sacred of the woods used in meditation, it is sometimes called the “Elixir of Life.” It soothes the nervous system, aligns all the chakras and strengthens the aura. Tulsi can boost the immune system and balance digestion. Tulsi is said to bring joy while also reducing depression symptoms.
SIZING: When considering this for a bracelet, be sure to measure your hand as well. Make the width your hand as small as it will go, bring your thumb and pinky finger as close as possible, as if you were sliding a bracelet on, and measure around the thickest part. If it is under 8 inches, this wrist mala should be able to slide on and be worn as a bracelet. If your hands are on the petite size, and your wrist size is under 6 inches around, you may find this to be too large or hang very loose.
